The UN theme for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) for December 3rd, 2016 is “Achieving 17 Goals for the Future We Want,” drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals and how they can create a more inclusive and equitable world for persons with disabilities. This IDPD is very important as 2016 is the 10thanniversary of the CRPD and it will be an opportunity for everyone to take stock of the achievements made over the last decade.
